She generally does her own thing no matter what the next guy thinks, which I also really like. Afi also goes back to school to be a seamstress and that works out for her. The story involves a lot of he say she say, marriage (or not) as a social tool, hiding from overbearing parents. And that solidifies their bond, but it doesn't erase the fact that she is not the only one and never will be. She is living in an apartment and he finally starts coming by more (this is after their arranged marriage which he wasn't even in attendance for) and it seems like Afi is getting what she wants. I really liked the section where they fall in love.

He'll be married to Afi, but she'd have to accept that relationship. Only thing is that he will not leave the other woman. And Eli, the guy, is actually really decent. Everyone knows it and doesn't approve of their relationship so his family makes him get married thinking it will turn him towards someone acceptable at least.

His Only Wife is about a woman named Afi who gets married to a guy who is in a relationship with his baby's mother. I had my eye on this book for a while, just seeing it on the internet or whatever.
